mcelog software package provides x86 Machine Check Exceptions collector and decoder, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mcelog
mcelog is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mcelog package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mcelog *
You will get with mcelog package name, version, architecture and description in a table
